Lapping Tongue

The Lapping Tongue logo was designed in 1971 and was originally reproduced on the Sticky Fingers album. It was also the unofficial name given to the plane that carried the Stones and their entourage across America on their epic 1972 tour.


1.5 parts Jose Cuervo® Especial Silver
.5 parts lemon juice
.25 parts rich simple syrup (2:1, sugar:water)
.5 part Creme de Cassis
.5 part Campari
Garnish with orange slice


Step 1

Add all ingredients except garnish to a cocktail shaker with ice.

Step 2

Shake and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Step 3

Garnish with an orange peel after expressing the natural oils over the drink and rubbing the peel around the rim of the glass.
