The Cuervo Agave Project

Eco-friendly tequila practices – transforming agave fiber into sustainable products – pioneered by Jose Cuervo.

GOING BEYOND TEQUILA

30 years ago, Cuervo took a forward-looking approach to tequila sustainability practices, seeking creative uses for agave beyond tequila. We called the initiative, The Agave Project – a commitment to turn recycled agave fiber into sustainable products for our community.

Our goal is to maintain a long-standing commitment to the land and people of Tequila and Mexico by harnessing the potential of its lifeblood – the agave plant.

A SUSTAINABLE EXPERIENCE FOR TEQUILA LOVERS

The Agave Bar pop-up is our immersive experience centered around friendship, food, music, cocktails, and sustainability. It honors our commitment to tequila sustainability practices, highlights the beloved agave plant, and celebrates authentic Mexican culture. Look for our pop-up across the country. Salud to sustainability!
